Meals at Home fosters health and contributes to individual well-being and independence by delivering nutritious meals, medically prescribed diets, and providing other supportive services to the home bound, elderly, disabled and others temporarily unable to care for their nutritional needs.


Meals at Home provides Meals on Wheels services in Chicago’s North Shore communities of Evanston, Skokie, Wilmette-Kenilworth, Winnetka-Northfield, and Glenview as well as the Lake County communities of North Chicago, Waukegan, Zion, and Winthrop Harbor.

Ongoing Opportunities:

Meals at Home is looking for volunteer meal delivery drivers to pick up meals from one of the hospitals in Evanston and deliver to clients. Time commitment is generally 11:00 am - 1:00 pm any day of the week except Sunday. Many volunteers choose to volunteer on a monthly or weekly basis while others enjoy filling in as needed.
