"Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not."

- Dr. Seuss

About:

The VITA (Volunteers in Teaching Adults) program is dedicated to excellence in teaching and learning. ESL and Literacy volunteer tutors assist the Lead Instructors by working with students one-on-one or in small groups so that they become more proficient in English or improve their reading skills for their personal and professional development.

Share your knowledge of the English language and your ability to read with foreign or American-born adults on two mornings, afternoons, or evenings or on Saturday mornings on a continuous basis throughout the year. Tutor trainings take place in Sept., Jan., March, and June.
