Youth Connection’s mission is to offer social, service and learning opportunities to Wilmette area 5th-8th graders. We provide experiences that encourage kids to participate, grow, and have fun in a safe and inclusive enviroment.

RAD (Recreational Academic Development) a free supervised after school meeting place for 5th and 6th graders at Highcrest Middle School. The DEN is a supervised after school meeting place for 7th and 8th graders at Wilmette Junior High School. The Art Club at WJHS is a supervised after school activity. The Homework Clubs are available at both schools. Youth Connection sponsos the Fall Theatre Experience at HMS and The Spring Theatrical Experience, the Spring Musical at WJHS. We sponsor community service projects and fun parties, a Halloween Movie event (Creature Feature) for 7th and 8th graders, and TGIF a Mardi Gras event at HMS. YC and Kis 103.5 FM co-sponsor The Battle of the Bands-an annual event for young local bands and solo musicians. For more info go to www.youthconnectionwilmette.org.
