About this Opportunity

We are seeking volunteers to assist adults w/ developmental disabilities in light manufacturing activities, such as: sewing, packaging, shrink-wrapping, labeling, and heat sealing.  Provide job coaching and mentorship within a manufacturing setting. Teach new job skills, interact with clients and help them peform their daily tasks at work.

Opportunities available Monday—Friday from 9:00 to 2:30 PM.

About The Douglas Center

The mission of The Douglas Center’s day program is to provide work programs, developmental training, vocational skills training, and a seniors program to adults living with developmental disabilities and mental health issues in order to help them improve their independent living skills, and enhance and enrich their quality of life.
