House In The Wood provides Chicago’s inner city youth a safe space to experience nature, foster responsibility, and learn from positive role models. On 23 acres alongside Wisconsin’s Lake Delavan, this year-round residential camp provides overnight, weekend, and weeklong camping to low-income children and families, as well as community groups from across Chicagoland.

All activities incorporate outdoor educational culture with recreational play, and are structured to include social-emotional learning and tools for all participants.
