Clearbrook: Clearbrook-Take a Break Respite Program

About this Opportunity

Take A Break Program- Volunteer Driven for 20+ Years

Clearbrook’s Take A Break Program offers two types of respite: one is site-based, which takes place once a month for three hours at one of our six partnering-sites in four counties for children with developmental disabilities (DD) five years and younger and their siblings. Clearbrook staff with the support of trained volunteers run this program. The second is our in-home option that provides families with four hours of weekly support for children diagnosed with DD under three years of age and their siblings. Our programs currently runs in four counties: Cook, Lake, McHenry and DuPage.
