Each year the Volunteer Center honors outstanding volunteers who have made a particularly significant impact in the community.  This fun event is a little different every year, but it’s always an inspiring celebration of the difference a committed volunteer can make in the lives of people in need.   The whole community is always invited to attend this event.
In addition to honoring a group of amazing volunteers, the 2019 Recognition Event featured a live concert on the Winnetka Chapel Stage by Chicago artist and American Idol finalist Manny Torres. whose soulful music provided the perfect end note to a magical celebration.
