Since 1960, board members have steered the Volunteer Center mission—to promote volunteerism, support local nonprofits, and engage people through transformative service.
Board members not only shape strategic direction and cultivate partnerships across New Trier Township—they also lead signature days of service events like Make a Difference Day in October and Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service in January .
Board members also champion ongoing community outreach and monthly Junior Board service activities.
