Special Needs Adult Pals Dinner

The Junior Board recently hosted a heartwarming evening serving dinner and leading a creative rock‑painting activity for adults with special needs. Volunteers prepared and shared a nutritious meal, fostering connection and conversation in a welcoming, inclusive environment. After dining together, participants and board members painted smooth river rocks, each embellished with uplifting messages like “You Are Strong” and “Keep Smiling.” The act of decorating and choosing a rock to take home sparked joy, encouragement, and community spirit. This thoughtful event not only nourished bodies with food but also fed souls with kindness, creativity, and genuine human connection.
