Open Heart Magic is proud to have children's hospital programs in several cities, including Hoffman Estates, Evanston, Park Ridge, Mayfield, Oak Lawn, as well as in in Hyde Park, downtown and in the Medical District in Chicago, and in other states. We are always looking for committed and interested volunteers year-round who would like to bring magic to kids in hospitals. Our volunteers, often individuals looking for volunteering more meaningful and impactful who generally do not have any prior magic experience, undergo thorough training at our annual Magic University in Chicago, which is offered once a year. This training equips them with the skills and confidence to create unforgettable bedside magic interactions. By volunteering with us, you can help inspire hope, laughter, and connection for children facing challenging medical situations, making a meaningful difference in their lives.
