Great Ways to Give Back

Founded in 1986, Project CARE matches trained adult volunteer tutors with adult students who seek assistance with reading, writing, or math, and/or learning English as another language. These services are free and are available to all eligible students. Enrollment in adult education classes is not necessary to request a tutor.
Tutoring occurs on the Morton College campus, as well as local libraries. One resource available to the student and tutor is the Adult Education Computer Lab, which has educational software programs.
Project CARE is a member of Proliteracy America, the largest adult literacy organization in the United States.
